The 7-year-old baby, Orbán Bence
Through Bence's example, we have seen how inefficient our health care system is. Bence or the Fighter, as we call him, was diagnosed with an aggressive and serious disease that attacked his right kidney. His family had to go to the doctors in Budapest, because in Romania there was not even a correct diagnosis. Beyond the border, they were left alone, without moral and financial support. At least at first. A few months passed and I saw an amazing thing: friends, the community I belong to intervened quickly and efficiently. I have seen what the divine power of souls means, what it means to wage a long and sustained struggle for someone else…
I saw the family fight and the infernal fight of the boy, who despite the situation was smiling in one. We were deeply touched by their problem, we often talked about the boy fighter and we decided not to be indifferent, because "One of the worst diseases in this world is to mean nothing to anyone," as Mother Teresa says.
Now the Fighter is fine, thank God and thank the community!
He goes to the control periodically, but he is beyond any danger.
